Greet With Greeting Cards!

Hey there! This is Ruchi from Ruchi's Crafeteria..
Today's article is all about cards. You are enjoying so many beautiful Mixed Media Layouts, Albums and Tags from past few days which are handcrafted by my fellow talented crafters so for a change I've created some cards using Mudra stamps and dies. Here I must say that Mudra Dies are really awesome. I'm already a big fan of Mudra Stamps and now these Cut3 Dies are giving crisp, smooth and fine die cuts.

So let's get crafty..have a crafty sip and enjoy my post. :)

Slider Card- 'Make a Wish!'

I've created this Slider Card with one stamp set Fairy tail Wishes along with Mudra Cut3 Slider Die. Created this cloudy effect using Stamping Mask Sheet.
I've tried to capture an image while creating these clouds..

  • Used distress inks for my cloudy background. I drew a cloudy border shape on mask sheet then adhered it on my pattern paper. Then distressed it. Remove the sheet and adhered again for repeating my clouds.
  • These Fairy Tail stamp has so many cute fairy images along with lovely elements. I stamped some images on watercolor paper and colored them using Zig markers. Fussy cut them.
  • For slider...used Cut3 Slider Die and created this slider panel. Used slider dots die for sliding my fairy.
  • Stamped some stars on my background and added glitter on that.
  • Tiny flowers are from this stamp set only. Stamped them using various inks, then did some doodling and created leaves and stems using my gel pens.
  • Adhered all the elements together and finished it with sentiment. White embossed the sentiment on black cardstock and cut it.
Here is a closer look...

See the slider movement of the fairy in this short video...

Just love the outcome of this card. Give it a try. It's really fun. :)

Thank You Cards- 'Thanks in a Bunch'

Here I'm sharing bunch of cards which I've created using my own designed stamp Mudra- Fern & Leaves along with Cut3 Thanks Die. Here are they..

I'm loving them in these different colors. Did lots of stamping, distressing, die cutting and fussy cutting. Lots and lots of brain storming for arranging all of them with the matching card stock and sequins.
Tried to capture the elements which I've used for my card..

  • Chose white cardstock and covered all the edges using masking tape to create a white broad border and then distressed the inside rectangle.
  • Stamped leaves from Fern & Leaves stamp set using black ink. After that peeled off the masking tape.
  • Stamped flowers and leaves from the same stamp set on white cardstock and fussy cut them.
  • Die cut thanks using Cut3 Thanks Die.

  • For card base used white cardstock. Layered a red textured cardstock on that. Then arranged and adhered all the elements.
  • Added Candy Pink Sequins.
Here are individual pics of the cards..

Procedure is same as above. Just used Harvest Mix and Gold sequins from Mudra.

For this card used Clear Sequins along with Harvest Mix.

Same procedure just used matching Yellow and Neon Sequines from Mudra.

That's it for today. Hope you like my work and don't forget to participate in our current Challenge-18    Today is the last day.

Thanks with a Flower Bunch !

Hello Friends ,

I'm Sharada Dilip Acharya here today to share another exciting creation I created using mudras latest stamp release  Flower Bunch stamp set . I totally love this stamp set in particular because it gives me more place to practice my colouring :P

The beautiful bouquets are always luring and if you love trying out your copics, watercolors or any other mediums of colouring you have plenty of place in here . I have coloured them with copics and combination of zig colour pens, giving me the perfect rich look I always like ! I learnt this late but combining various colour pen mediums is what works for me best while colouring as I don't own all the shades in Copics and Clean colours.

So here is how I put this card together -

  • I have adhered the coloured bouquet image on a pink 4"x5.5" cardstock with double sided tape.
  • On the card stock is a golden washi tape which enhances the look of the card .
  • I have added a die cut Thanks which I have die cut several times and adhered on each other creating layers  to give that thick outlook.
Im also sharing a few albums I have made with Mudra stamps and chipzebs with you all today.

Mini album cover with chipzebs -

Sharing a Mini album book cover I have made using Mudras latest release of Leaves chipzebs  and Beautiful Butterflies Chipzeb.. Chipzebs are the right embellishment to give that extra oomph to your work and make them stand out.  Here I have heat embossed the chipzebs to golden and adhered them along the layout ! Isn't this royal !!

Next one is a Sunshine Baby album , All who have known me know my love for baby books and how simple I like to keep them .

Here is a glimpse into a sunshine theme baby album for a Mom to be .  Sharing a few close ups and a collage of the layouts . This is made using Beary Hugs pattern paper which makes it much more easier to put all the tags and theme together.

I have a journaling space for the mom to be to note her experience here and this is a stamp set you will love if you are into baby book making ! I have stamped and coloured the image with watercolor pens .

This book would make a perfect gift for a baby shower function with perfectly laid out layouts for pictures and perfect space for journaling the details along and this one paper pack is more than enough to make it all !!

Isn't this something you all would love to try :)

Royalty : A Mixed Media Layout

 Hello craft enthusiasts, Aditya here.

A very happy Monday morning  ...
I know most of us hate Mondays after so beautiful weekend.
To make your Monday morning refreshing. i'm here with a crafty treat for your eyes.
so again this time its another princess on my mind, the most gorgeous and brave heart lady
"Diana" princess of wales.
She has been an inspiration for life.
So my post is dedicated to the princess of heart and i named it "Royalty that was"
To design this layout, i have used pearls shades, light soft colors with little fusion of green and blue ink colors and textured my base using some stencils. To add on to the beauty of the layout, i have used amazing newly released chipzebs.

So enjoy the treat.
