Doodle your way...

Hello friends,

Gayatri here. Today I want to share a simple card using the 'Doodle Cluster' stencil. Here are few pictures.

I created the background with the stencil using Wild Honey DI. I stamped the Zinnia image onto white water color paper with Versamark and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I colored the image with Zig color pens and fussy cut the image. I stamped one of the images from the Leafy stamp set with Altenew inks and fussy cut that too. Mounted the flower with foam tape for 3D effect and layered the panel onto a card stock. Added the sentiment from the Floral Flourish.

I lovedthe stencil so much that I went ahead and made one more similar card. Here are the pictures.

Cute Cards with December Release Stamp Sets

Hello everyone! Good Morning! This is Deepti and today I'm going to show you two simple and cute cards using Sail Away and Hip Hip Hippo Stamp sets from December Release. These stamps are so cute and you can create many more designs out of it.

CARD DETAILS

I started off by stamping the few images with Catherine Pooler's Midnight Black dye ink on Iris Card Stock and colored them with Faber- Castell Connector Pens. These pens roll just like butter on Iris card stock.

Next I fussy cut all the images with a pair of scissors. I then did some stamp surgery and phrased the sentence ' Happy Birthday To You My Hippo Friend' and stamped with the same Black Ink

Next I adhered all the fussy cut images with glue and foam tape and that finishes my first card!

Here comes my second one.. A Masculine Card..

CARD DETAILS

For this card also I started by stamping all the images from Sail Away Stamp Set on a white card stock and colored them using some water-color pens from Camlin.

Then fussy cut them with a pair of scissors. Next I took a pattern paper which has the nice graphic image from Kaisercraft, I thought this would go perfectly with the stamped images so I adhered the pattern paper on white card base and adhered all the images with foam tape and glue.

Finally stamped the sentiment on a strip of paper and adhered it on the card front and finished it off by adhering a few star sequins from Lucy's Cards.

I hope you like my cards and I hope you got inspired! Thank you so much for stopping by. Take care and I will see you soon :)

Mudra Stamps-Happy New Year And Dainty Blooms

Hello Dear Friends,

Shalini Pahwa here, May every day of the New Year 2017 glow with good cheer and happiness to all of you. Today i'll be sharing a card using Mudra  New Year  and Dainty Blooms Stamp.
Pix below
I started by taking card-stock 4"x12" and then score it to 6". Then taken another card-stock of 3.875"x5.875" and started playing with distress inks and spray water with mini-mister and dry it with heat gun ( you'll get the lovely effect ) . After this step i used Dainty Blooms stamp with Black archival ink. The fun part begins here, by taking out the colour with brush and u you'll get bleach effect and i just loved it. On the edges i had used stampendous embossing  enamel . After this i did some fussy cutting of the Dainty Blooms stamp. And used Happy New Stamp on the Spellbinders die and the card was ready

I hope you will love this project and get inspired

Stretch your stamps - Let's Party !

Hello, This is Ujjwal ! I hope you had a lovely Christmas and are gearing up to celebrate the new year's eve! It's hard to believe we'll be welcoming 2017 soon.

For today's card, I thought I'd share how you can combine and tweak the stamps to create totally different cards than what the stamp was intended for.

I combined two of the older Mudra set "Friends Forever" and "Let's Party" to come up with this fun card! You could use it as a birthday card or even mass produce to make invites!

I stamped the friends image on Fabriano Elle Erre Bianco Cardstock (3.75" X 5.5") and stamped the party caps and banner on another piece of white cardstock. I stamped the banner twice to extend it and make it longer. I colored all the images with Faber Castell Markers and then I fussy cut the caps and the banner and adhered them with foam adhesive. I wrote PARTY TIME with a Brustro 0.5 Pen and then stamped the sentiment using Black Archival Ink. And then I adhered the panel on a white card base with foam adhesive.

So I would encourage you to look a little closer and little longer at your stamps and think outside the box. Stamps are so versatile and have so much potential.

I hope you feel inspired and stretch your stamps to create new things!

There's still time to play along our current sketch challenge and win some Mudra stamps.

Mudra Guest Designer : Ria Banerjee

Hi Friends!

It's a pleasure to welcome you all for a Final Guest Design post of this year.

So happy to Welcome Ria Banerjee, as Guest Designer today at Mudra.

This Lovely Artist has come up with SO festive projects right for this season, to share with you all.

Over to Ria,

Hello all,

I am Ria Banerjee from Kolkata, India. Its been a privilege to design few projects for Mudra. I am new to stamping not even a year old in this, I am learning new techniques and styles and hope to enrich my knowledge about the same from the fellow crafters. I am a teacher and also a student, a bookworm and a passionate painter. My focus shifted from painting to crafting this year. Watercoloring is my favourite. I cant resist myself to CAS cards. Thanks to Mudra for giving me this wonderful opportunity.

Watercolored Florals:

I have used the Linen blooms for these. I have embossed the florals in white, colored them with distress inks and fussy cut them. I used a circular die cut to make a window for shaker card. I used the sentiment from Christmas Decors with a lightly blended background on the inner circular cut.

Bleaching Technique:

I had already shared cards made with bleaching technique but then why not with Mudra stamps! I selected Linen Blooms set for this. I have made two cards with the same set, one with the leaf and the other with the flower. I have blended Inks on the card stock and then embossed the images with clear embossing powder. I lifted the colors with bleaching water (bleaching powder mixed with water). I completed with die cuts and hand lettering.

I hope you have liked all the projects. Have a joyous new year ahead. Thanks everyone and to Mudra!

Thanks & Regards

Ria Banerjee
