"Have used the brand new stamp set "Leaves" from our October release to create the background. And the technique I have used is pretty simple :) I just stamped the solid leaf with many light colour inks leaving some space here and there. Next I stamped the same leaf on the blank places overlapping with earlier ones and voila! Background is ready!! To add more interest I split this background in stripes and mounted them on the card base with the help of foam tape. And finally added the sentiment from the "Labelled" stamp set.
Hope you like it."
"For the leafy card: ink blended the background with Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, added splatters of water for the splotchy background. Next stamped one of the outline leaves from Leaves stamp set in Manganese Blue Archival Ink and then took the solid leaf from the same set and stamped with the same Manganese Blue ink, heat embossed the sentiment from Butterfly Layers Stamp set with Zing white embossing powder and finished my card off with a few sequins.
Butterfly Card: I stamped the solid layer of the butterfly randomly on white card base with Aqua Marine Archival Ink followed stamping the second and third layer with Manganese Blue Archival Ink and Stazon Midnight Blue ink respectively. Then heat embossed the sentiment from Doodled Elements with Zing White Embossing powder and finished the card off with a few sequins."
Hope you got inspired,so its now your turn to take out your stamps and play along. We cant wait to see all your beautiful entries.
